Keeping my eye on you

This has been a week of ups and downs.  We got a visit from Ed (out from NY on a little vacation).  It was great to visit with him and hear about life back east.

Also, Kim’s work seems to be going well.

On the down side, Sander has been sleeping a little worse this week and has been grouchy.  Maybe new teeth on the way?  Who knows.   Food time continues to be interesting.  We found out that Sander really dislikes normal potatoes.  However, he continues to enjoy sweet potatoes.  Here he is keeping an eye on Dad while he enjoys his bowl.

A Picnic With the Babies

We had a picnic with the families from mom’s group this past Saturday. The babies had a good time playing with one another. As you can see they all love playing around the table. The parents enjoyed fabulous chicken sandwiches from Bakesale Betty’s, a favorite of the group.

Anniversary Party

We spent the weekend last week up in Sebastopol.  We did a little party hopping.  Spent a couple of hours at the Boblitt household visiting with Nate, Kristy and the new addition to their family, Nina.  She is very cute.

Then the evening was spent celebrating my parents 35th anniversary.  We had a nice BBQ with the extended family (Marsh’s, Ballinger’s and Anderson’s).  It was really nice of my parents to hold such a great celebration.

Do you want some cheese?

A couple weeks ago we took this video (filming by Aunt Nicole) while Sander explores the fun of cheese. It turns out that string cheese is his new favorite food. There are many qualities about cheese. It is easy to pick up on your own. And it tastes soooo goood when it hits your lips. Anyways, considering most of the time he is indifferent to the eating process, this is certainly the highlight of his day. Typically he goes through a whole stick of cheese.

Chris’ Birthday

I had a great birthday today. Unfortunately it was cloudy, cold & windy. But it was a great day. Morning started with a trip to the bakery in Rockridge where we enjoyed good pastries. Then we had a small get together with family and our Berkeley friends. Made some tri-tip sandwiches with my new BBQ. Anyways, I’m still full from “lunch”.

Sander says, “Look up there!” :
