A couple of weeks ago we made the trek to Carson City to visit Grandma and Grandpa Courtney. The Courtney contingent from Indiana were also out visiting. We got to meet little Natalie for the first time. She takes the happy baby award.
We spent the weekend visiting and playing. One morning we headed to the beach at Lake Tahoe. It was warm outside and the water cool and crisp. It is a beautiful beach, especially with the mountains in the background. Grandpa tried to give Zachary and Sander a lesson in sand castle building. When we mention building the sand castle to Sander he replies, “knock it down”. So Grandpa hopes he will be more helpful the next time. Chris was the bravest of us all, he took both boys out into waist high water. They wanted to come back, it was too cold. He then also took a swim out to the buoy.
Towards the end of our visit we headed to Placerville to meet up with GG, Aunt MA and Aunt Bev. GG wanted to meet the little ones. They had a good time playing on the playground and were all pretty well behaved through lunch. Impressive. Now getting them to sit for a picture with GG was another story.
We got a nice picture of Grandma, Kurt and Kim too.
