Had a fun outing last night were we walked over to Magnolia Village and spent the evening collecting candy. Sander was shy, but seemed to enjoy trick-or-treating. He liked looking at the other costumes.
Olin got to crawl around the house and be a dino. We all enjoyed that. He was very cute.
We made it to Seattle last night. Signed our apartment papers and viewed the house. Kim liked if and sander liked running around. We stayed in a hotel last night and will probably stay in the house tonight.
Yesterday turned out to be a good day as we found ourselves in Crater Lake. Pretty amazing (though a little hazy). We then made the journey to Bend. Definitely a nice town. Had a great dinner at Deschutes. Today we are going to attempt to make it to Portland through the weather.
It is really hard to put into words the last five months. This has been the most challenging time of my life, and I’m pretty sure the most challenging for Kim. Today is a big day. We moved out of our house in Oakland. Lots of memories and a special place for us. It is really hard for me to talk about right now in any depth.
I will say, the first 5 minutes of our drive away from the house… was difficult.
We made it 2 hours north to wonderful Willows, Ca. Happen to have this massive rome available. Sander and I made the journey to get mexican food from this hole-in-the-wall across the street (picture below). Tomorrow we continue our journey to Klamath Falls, Oregon.
